General Terms & Conditions
These terms govern all purchases, services, and interactions with PC Vitamins. Please read them carefully before using our services.
Introduction & Agreement
These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all customers, clients, and visitors ("you" or "Customer") who engage with PC Vitamins, a business registered and operating in South Africa with its principal place of trade at Shop U169, Eastgate Shopping Centre, Bradford Road, Bedfordview, Germiston, Gauteng ("PC Vitamins", "we", "us", or "our").
By visiting our store, requesting a repair, purchasing a product, accessing our online store at pcvitamins.store, or making use of any service offered by PC Vitamins, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
These Terms are supplemented by our Repair Terms & Conditions, Trade-In Terms, Warranty Policy, and Privacy Policy. In the event of conflict, the more specific document governs.
Definitions
In these Terms, the following definitions apply:

| "Goods" | Refurbished devices, accessories, components, or any physical product sold by PC Vitamins. |
| "Online Store" | PC Vitamins' e-commerce platform at pcvitamins.store. |
| "CPA" | The Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 of South Africa. |
| "POPIA" | The Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 of South Africa. |
| "Business Day" | Any day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or South African public holiday. |
Services Offered
PC Vitamins offers the following categories of services:
- Device Repairs — Smartphones, laptops, tablets, desktops, gaming consoles, screens, and smartwatches. Governed by our Repair Terms & Conditions.
- Refurbished Device Sales — Pre-owned, tested, and graded devices sold in-store and via pcvitamins.store. Covered by our Warranty Policy.
- Trade-In Programme — Assessment and purchase of used devices for cash or store credit. Governed by our Trade-In Terms.
- TechPartner Programme — Managed IT support packages for South African businesses. Governed by separate TechPartner service agreements.
- Hardware as a Service (HaaS) — Monthly device subscription for businesses. Governed by individual HaaS agreements.
- Accessories Sales — Cases, chargers, cables, and peripherals sold in-store and online.
PC Vitamins reserves the right to decline to provide services at its discretion, including where a device is not repairable, not genuine, or where the engagement would be unlawful.
Pricing & Quotes
All prices displayed in-store and online are denominated in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate of 15%, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Quotes provided verbally or in writing are valid for 7 calendar days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. After this period, pricing may be subject to revision due to parts availability or cost changes.
PC Vitamins will not proceed with a repair or order without your express authorisation once a quote has been provided. Where a final cost exceeds an initial estimate by more than 10%, we will contact you before proceeding.
Diagnostic fees may apply for complex or board-level assessments. Any applicable diagnostic fee will be communicated to you before the assessment begins. Diagnostic fees may be waived or credited toward the cost of repair if you proceed.
Payment Methods
PC Vitamins accepts the following payment methods for in-store and online transactions:
- Credit & Debit Cards — Visa, Mastercard (in-store point-of-sale)
- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) — Banking details available on request or on your invoice
- Cash — In-store only; exact change appreciated for high-value transactions
- Payflex — Buy now, pay later in 4 interest-free instalments (see Section 6)
- Float — Flexible credit and payment facilitation (see Section 6)
Payment is required in full before goods are released or a repaired device is returned, unless a formal credit arrangement has been agreed in writing. PC Vitamins reserves the right to hold devices until payment is received.
All electronic payments are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant payment processor. PC Vitamins is not liable for processing delays or failures caused by third-party payment systems.
Buy-Now-Pay-Later Options
PC Vitamins partners with Payflex and Float to offer flexible payment options to qualifying customers.
Payflex
Payflex allows eligible customers to split purchases into 4 equal, interest-free instalments, paid fortnightly. The first instalment is due at the time of purchase.
- Available on qualifying purchases — minimum and maximum order values apply per Payflex's current policy
- Subject to Payflex's own approval and credit check process
- Interest-free provided all instalments are paid on time; late payment fees may apply per Payflex's terms
- Payflex's Terms and Conditions apply and are independent of these Terms
Float
Float provides flexible payment and credit solutions for eligible customers and businesses.
- Particularly suited to business customers and the TechPartner / HaaS programmes
- Subject to Float's own approval, credit assessment, and terms
- Fees and interest rates are set by Float and disclosed during the application process
- Float's Terms and Conditions apply independently of these Terms
PC Vitamins does not guarantee approval by Payflex or Float. Approval is at the sole discretion of the respective provider. PC Vitamins is not a party to your agreement with Payflex or Float.
Consumer Rights (Consumer Protection Act)
As a South African business, PC Vitamins is fully committed to compliance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA"). Your rights under the CPA include, but are not limited to:
- Right to Equality — You will not be unfairly discriminated against.
- Right to Privacy — We handle your personal information in accordance with POPIA and our Privacy Policy.
- Right to Choose — You are never obligated to purchase additional services or products.
- Right to Disclosure — We will provide clear and accurate information about our goods and services.
- Right to Fair & Honest Dealing — We do not engage in misleading or bait-and-switch practices.
- Right to Fair, Just & Reasonable Terms — No unconscionable contract terms apply.
- Right to Quality Service — Services will be performed with reasonable care and skill.
- Right to Implied Warranty on Repairs — Repairs carry a 3-month implied warranty as detailed in our Repair Terms.

Returns & Refunds
PC Vitamins adheres to the CPA's provisions regarding returns and refunds. The following general policy applies:
Physical Goods (Accessories, Components)
- Unopened items in original condition may be returned within 7 business days of purchase for a full refund or exchange.
- Opened accessories and components may be exchanged for store credit within 7 days if they are faulty, damaged, or not as described.
- Items damaged through misuse, liquid damage, or improper installation are not eligible for return.
Refurbished Devices
- Refurbished devices are sold with a 90-day warranty as described in our Warranty Policy.
- If a device develops a fault within 6 months of purchase and PC Vitamins is unable to repair it within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a replacement or refund in accordance with the CPA.
Repair Services
Refunds for repair services are not generally available once work has been completed. If the same fault recurs within the 3-month warranty period, the repair will be redone at no charge. See our Repair Terms for full details.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable South African law, including the CPA:
- PC Vitamins' total liability to you for any claim arising from a repair or purchase shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that specific service or product.
- PC Vitamins is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses including loss of data, loss of income, or business interruption, unless caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
- Customers are responsible for backing up their own data before submitting a device for repair. PC Vitamins is not responsible for data loss during the repair process.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Intellectual Property
All content on the PC Vitamins website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and design, is the property of PC Vitamins or its licensors and is protected by South African and international copyright law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from our website without our prior written consent. Fair use for personal, non-commercial reference is permitted.
Changes to These Terms
PC Vitamins reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
For significant changes, we will endeavour to provide notice via our website or in-store signage at least 14 days before changes take effect.
Dispute Resolution
We always aim to resolve disputes amicably and in good faith. If you have a complaint:
- Contact us directly — in-store, via WhatsApp, or email. Most issues can be resolved within 1–2 business days.
- If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may escalate to the National Consumer Commission (NCC) or the relevant Ombud for your sector.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any formal legal disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
We are a member-friendly business and strongly prefer direct resolution over formal proceedings.
